Glacier climbing –experience the Pitztal Ice World
Experienced mountain climbers can experience a climb from the peak lift station with the Pitz-Panoramabahn at 3,440m along the marked glacier trail over to the Taschachferner and to the Taschachhaus.
The Wildspitze 3.774m - highest peak in Tyrol
It is probably a dream of every mountain climber. The view from the Wildspitze is probably only limited through the earth’s curve, and extends from the Berner Alps in the West (Bietschhorn, Aletschhorn Mountains) to the Schobergruppe in the East.
Over the Mittagskogel towards the Mittelberg
You will be rewarded with spectacular views, as the well paved trail leads from the Pitz Express top station (Glacier Restaurant) over the Mittagskogel, and then down the North Slope into the valley.
The Glacier Trail to the Braunschweiger Cabin
The Braunschweiger Hütte (Cabin), built at 2,758m elevation, can be reached in approx. 1.5 hrs. from the top station of the Pitz Express over a marked glacier trail.

A short hike to the Glacier Bar
The romantic Glacier Bar lies in the middle of the Pitztal Mountain World, among numerous 3000ers at the base of the Mittelbergferners.
